Giveaway: Strawberry Shortcake Happily Ever After, Berry Cute

Strawberry Shortcake Happily Ever After $8.99 (special Amazon pricing - retails in stores for $14.98)

UPDATE: Brooke is the randomly-drawn winner!
Take the iconic fruit-scented cutie, put her in a tiara and royal garb, add some classic princessy fairy tales and what do you get? A DVD that totally enthralled my princess-obsessed little girl. Actually, my son really liked it too, assuring me that "the boy one" (Huckleberry Pie to you novices) was his favorite. And you know what? As a parent that grew up with the berry crew, I also enjoyed it.

Strawberry Shortcake and her similarly-sweet named pals act out the tales of Rapunzel and OMG, my daughter's ultimate favorite, Sleeping Beauty. The characters are likeable and spunky, and both stories have a learning lessons in friendship and following one's own interests and dreams. Thankfully, the characters don't use the word "berry" as a verb or adjective quite as annoyingly often as I remember from the cartoon specials in the '80s (and, I assure you, never touch the annoyance level of The Smurfs' use of "smurfy.")

Just in time for Valentine's Day, there are free Valetine cards for your child to give to friends inside the packaging, and the DVD doubles as a fun DVD-ROM for use in your computer with printable coloring pages and games.

Berry nice!
