GIVEAWAY: New Curious George Feature Film, A Very Monkey Christmas

The winners are Tracy and Laura - thanks everyone!

Ladies and gentlemen, set that DVR:  A new feature length film from PBS Kids is premiering on PBS Kids this Wednesday, November 25 (the day before Thanksgiving.) ) Check here for your local listings channel numbers and air times.

(If you tape it, you'll have something for the kids to watch on Thursday when your buttered arms are lost in a naked, dead turkey's most private of body cavities.)

The movie is A Very Monkey Christmas starring good old Curious George and The Man With the Yellow Hat.

My kids and I were happily asked to preview the film with a screener copy that made us feel like members of the Academy.  My children loved this sweet, calm tale about how neither guy can figure out what to give the other for Christmas.  The Man is having trouble reading George’s wish list and George doesn’t have a clue about what to get for The Man who has everything. In the meantime though, they have fun trimming the tree.  There are elements of The Gift of the Magi and A Christmas Carol for the parental units, and lots of George's sweet and silly antics to entertain even very young kids in PBS Kids' educational media style.

The PBS peeps also kindly tucked in a pack of microwave popcorn, some fun holiday recipes, a couple coloring pages and other fun stuff.  You can get many of these freebies in the Curious George area of PBS Kids, and if you leave a comment below you'll also be entered to win one of two fun prizes:

AND I also have 3 coupons for $2 off your purchase of the DVD, so email me if you are going to be buying this flick and I'll send you a coupon to use.

I'll draw the winner of the DVD and CD in one week, but the in meantime, don't forget to watch s A Very Monkey Christmas  on Wednesday, November 25 (the day before Thanksgiving.) Check here for your local listings channel numbers and air times.

Best SNL Host Ever (& Secret Hollywood Boyfriend) Seth Rogen

So what if I'm married, he has a girlfriend, and oh, has no clue that I exist? I can still adore him and share his Hulu clips with you. Don't worry, if you missed the episode two weeks ago you can watch it at my house - it'll be on my DVR until about 2012.

Vinny Interviews BEAR MAN

Girlfriend Voices...a great device to haul out the impressions

Would you believe Seth even makes a gorgeous Muppet (circa 1979)?

You know, Bill Hader looks A LOT like my husband Chris. Maybe Bill should be my Secret Hollywood Boyfriend?
Nah, that could be weird. And I have to stay true.

Do you want more Seth? Especially skits a tad more risqué? OK, I'll bury my jealousy and share.
Throw the kids out of the room and check out Seth and his SNL homies on Hulu.
